Sword making is hard. Really, really hard. Especially when you have to make: 6 of them, and their stupid sheaths, and their stupid complicated butt-head tsuba patterns on BOTH SIDES of the GODDAMN SWORD that change in every screen shot of the anime, and a stupid bo-hi that's impossible to carve! Aaaarrrgggggg!!!!! When I'm done, I'm gonna stab myself with the swords to end this misery. But yeah, my lungs are coated in sawdust and I have splinters everywhere.

What compelled me to cosplay Date? I still have to make his helmet and armor so that Wonderflex order needs to be placed soon. The blue fabric for his coat is non-existent, I have to go find it online or something. I'll probably head to an obscure swatch stores to see if they have anything because Joann's and Hobby Lobby refuse to carry anything close to the shade. I found the colors used in the video game but not the ones in the anime, which is what I need.

On a side note, this is the last week of classes. YAY! But, then finals are next week. BOO! It's crunch time.

Fai. His coat is so warm and fluffy. I hate it when conventions don't turn on the air conditioning. Majority of the people have awkward-non-breathable cosplay on so cold air=yes. So, my 3 coat layers plus binding means I'm about to die from heat exhaustion.

★Who do you REALLY wanna cosplay as?
Everyone and their mother! Lol. Kuniko Hojo from Shangri-la and her awesome boomerang of awesomeness. Also, something from Shugo Chara, idk, I'm in the need for a magical transformation.

★How many of your friends cosplay?
Lots. I've made so many new friends too!

★Have you ever walked around in public in your cosplay outfit?
Not really.

★Have people in public ever recognized you and asked for photos?
Yes. The Hyatt hotel for Ohayocon tends to book other conventions at the same time. So I've had people from the cleaning, Christian, and chearleader conventions recognize me.

★Have you ever made your own cosplay outfit?
Totally. 100% all me.
I've also made 2 outfits for my brothers: Assassin from Ragnarok: The Animation and Russia from APH (it was supposed to be mine but he took it as soon as I finished it) and 1 outfit for my sister: France from APH (velcro was placed on the side so she can rip it off in one jerk revealing a nude body suit with roses in the *ahem* places)

Ohayocon 2005. I saw those people and there was a glitter in my eyes.

Meeting other people from your series and having a good time. At least there's someone else and nerdy as you.

★What is the worst thing about cosplay?
Getting it dirty from "outside forces beyond your control." Then you have to wash it, at which point that is impossible, sometimes. For example, washing my Ukraine was OK, drying it was NO-NO. Now I have to go and remake it.

★Why do you cosplay?
